Dr. Kevin Blair was raised in Pennsylvania and Massachusetts.  He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Merrimack College, North Andover, MA in 1977, and a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with honors from Georgetown University, Washington D.C in 1981 being inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU-the national dental honor society).  Upon graduation from dental school, Captain Blair entered the US Air Force as a dental officer where he served until his retirement in 2005.  Colonel Blair served in various capacities culminating as the United States Air Forces in Europe (USAFE) Command Dental Surgeon and Senior Department of Defense Dental Officer in Europe providing dental oversight for all branches of the service.  Dr Blair served with distinction beginning recognized as the Dental Officer of the Year in 1989 and was ultimately awarded the Legion of Merit Medal, unusual for a dental officer, for service rendered in a clearly exceptional manner.

Dr. Blair completed a one-year and a separate two-year military residency in general dentistry becoming board certified by both the American Board of General Dentistry and the Federal Services Board of General Dentistry. He has completed original dental research and has been published in the International Journal of Prosthodontics.  Dr Blair has presented numerous continuing education programs and addressed the San Antonio, TX Dental Society speaking on tooth bleaching techniques and rationale.  Dr Blair achieved “Mater” status by the Academy of General Dentistry in 2004, an achievement earned by less then 1% of nationwide general dentists. 

Upon retirement from the US Air Force in 2005, Dr Blair returned to Snellville, GA to be reunited with his wife Julie’s family.   He joined the Nanston Dental Group.  The Nanston Dental Group was purchased by a nationwide provider of dental services in 2010. Dr. Blair joined Princeton Dental Group, with a desire to serve his patients in a smaller, more personal environment.  He will use his experience, knowledge and expertise to help see that Princeton is the best option for dental patients, employees and professionals in the Atlanta area.  He is an avid tennis player and is active in his church.  Dr. Blair is married to the former Julie Elizabeth Bartlett. They are the parents of a son, Adam a graduate of Auburn University working in the insurance industry and a daughter, Elizabeth attending Auburn University and majoring in Speech and Communication Disorders.
